Lovely Viennese Grand Sonnerie Biedermeier Regulator working on two springs and one weight and two day running, c1840 Maker Maranzeller in Wien. Lovely one piece dial with the makers name on it. The bezel is nicely engine turned and gilded and has a strike silent and a pull repeat which strike the last quaters and hour on two goings. The case is 42 1/2 inches high, 10 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep and is made of lovey Mahogany or rosewood with bowwood stringing and lovely beadwork.
